Favourite wines (so far, this is work-in-progress):
- Rioja, any colour, preferably a Gran Reserva, but definitely old
- Syrah, as in Northern Rhône, as opposed to (which I am here) Southern Australia
- anything 100% Nebbiolo (as long as it's old enough)
- anything 100% Sangiovese (ditto)
- almost anything old that's good enough to be old
- whatever is in my glass at the moment
